I was born with major vision problems over 60 years ago and not much could be done except to wear eyeglasses. When I was diagnosed with cataracts as few years ago, I knew that I needed to go to the best doctor to restore some vision. I was introduced to Dr. David Perlmutter when he was a resident at Wills Eye Hospital. He became my surgeon for my cataract surgery. He was well educated, confident, yet down to earth and caring with a warm personality. I knew I was in good hands. My custom cataract surgery included the insertion of a Toric lens to correct my astigmatism. My vision was made clearer than it ever was in my lifetime! I was present at the birth of our granddaughter in April of 2014 and for the birth of her brother in April of 2015. Thanks to the knowledge and skilled hands of Dr. David, I was able to clearly see the miracle of birth for both grandchildren.
"I am 93 years old, and I have a medical history going back to the 1950’s. I had cataract surgery with Dr. Lawrence Perlmutter in 1988, and I see as well as I did forty years ago. I seldom wear glasses at all, and I can read the smallest print possible without any glasses. Dr. Perlmutter is a wonderful guy, and I have tremendous gratitude for my wonderful vision."
I was hammering tile flooring at my construction job, and a piece flew up into my eye. The broken piece punctured my eye, and I met Dr. David Perlmutter in the emergency room of the hospital. He performed emergency surgery on my eye that very same night. Everyone told me that I would likely lose my vision, but Dr. Perlmutter saved my eye. My eye is now healed up and my vision is back to normal. I can't thank him enough.
Dr. Lawrence Perlmutter has been taking care of my eyes for decades, and he did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. My vision is excellent. He is the most impressive eye surgeon in the capital region.
When I first saw Dr. Lawrence Perlmutter, I was legally blind in both my eyes. My optometrist referred me to Dr. Perlmutter for my cataracts, and Dr. Perlmutter performed my surgery. I wore glasses my entire life, but now I don't need them anymore. Dr. Perlmutter has also taken care of numerous colleagues of mine, and he has done similar wonders for them as well.
